Pediatric Physical Therapy
Pediatric Physical Therapy services at TYGR are designed to promote strong gross motor, coordination, and balance skills while addressing neurological and orthopedic issues of the children. TYGR Physical Therapists work with children and their families on walking, running, jumping, climbing, balancing, and the functional implications for stairs, riding a bike, swimming, playing at the park, and school and community safety. Physical Therapy helps children with physical, developmental, neurological disabilities, musculoskeletal problems or cardiopulmonary diagnoses. TYGR Physical Therapists use gymnastic activities and equipment to improve the movement and physical skills that impact the child’s function and improves their ability to climb stairs, ride a bike, swim, play a sport, play at the park, gym at school, and community safety.
