Yoga & Therapy
Through the use of yoga, TYGR enhances a child’s strength, flexibility, focus, and self-care. Additionally, children learn techniques to calm their bodies and quiet their minds. Yoga is led by therapists that use their expert knowledge of movement and emotional regulation to guide children to peace. Childrenhave creative yoga sessions tailored to their sensory processing and emotional needs. TYGR therapists guide children in yoga activities including visuals & sounds to calm mind with control of body, yoga movement stories, breathing techniques, guided imaginative play, animal imitations, creative drawings, stretching, and traditional yoga poses.
